In Jeanne Guyon's Mystical Lion of God: Her Biblical Commentary on St. Mark's Gospel, Guyon explains the soul's journey uniting with God while simultaneously exercising an active ministry in the name of Jesus Christ. Guyon has written her full theology of the soul's divinization in Jeanne Guyon's Mystical Interpretation of Divinization: Her Biblical Commentary on St. Matthew's Gospel, Volumes 1 and 2. Now in her commentary on Mark, she describes the radical new spiritual powers the believer has received in this state of divinization. Through divinization followed by active ministry, the soul exercises new realities, called consummated faith, which fulfill the waiting world. The satisfied soul receives the power of divinity in this lifetime, which releases spiritual powers into the world. The divine essence and secrets revealed to Jeanne Guyon are actively explored in these important commentaries on Matthew and Mark.
