THE STORM GOD BAAL AWAKENS.
Kings conspire. A depraved prophet unleashes a deadly curse.
Israel arrives on the border of the Promised Land, with no idea that local kings have summoned the prophet Balaam to stop them. When Yahweh blocks his curses, Balaam joins forces with Cozbi, an ambitious and irresistibly beautiful Midianite princess. Enlightened by the dark mind of Baal, the two launch an assault--not of steel, but of passion and compromised loyalty.
Seduction and intrigue creep silently through camp. Revolution breaks out, and the entire Exodus generation is swept away in a torrent of plague and bloodshed. The future now rests with their children. Born in the wilderness, this young generation has never known the slavery of Egypt-only the harshness of the desert, where reliance on Yahweh was the only way to survive. They are fierce, capable, and tired of waiting. But do they have what it takes to save the nation from itself?
