As the children study some of the New Testament People of Faith, they acquire role models that will help them live their lives of Christian discipleship. From Barnabas, they learn to encourage one another. From Lois, Eunice and Timothy they hear that we are always an example to those around us of what a Christ-like life is all about. What kind of example will be choose to be? From Philip they learn to help others understand the word of God. And from the story of Peter in prison they learn the importance of praying for one another.
