A perfect follow-up to the Abraham and Sarah unit, this unit follows the lives of Isaac and Rebekah and their twin sons: Jacob and Esau. The story of Abraham's servant finding a wife for Isaac teaches children to pray for guidance. The lessons on the conflict between Jacob and Esau tell the students that they should value all people's gifts, including their own. Jacob's dream helps children recognize the presence of God in their lives. And the final session on the reconciliation of Jacob and Esau teaches children to forgive others.
