Is it sinful for a believer to ask God to repay the proud when they mock Him and persecute His people? In passages like Psalm 94 and Luke 18:1-8, we see persecuted believers crying out to the God of vengeance to avenge them.
Throughout this book, we will see that the Lord calls His children to depend on Him for salvation, sanctification, glorification, and even vindication.
We will also see that true Christians bring their desire for justice before God, knowing He will act righteously, while at the same time they are proclaiming the gospel to their adversaries, in hopes their adversaries may be saved from the wrath of God.
